Omniture Measures Visitor Behaviour Across Several Million Interrelated Web Sites

Omniture, a leading provider of online business optimisation software, today announced that AG, the operator of (“my city”) and Germany’s most visited local Internet search service, has selected Omniture to improve the online experience for visitors interacting with each of the company’s 12,500 city portals (representing several million Web sites). Omniture SiteCatalyst® will enable to measure visitor paths as they navigate across multiple Web properties, ensuring their consumers find the information they seek. They will also be able to identify opportunities to improve their portals’ Web navigation structure and determine the revenue impact of paid advertising.

Additionally, AG uses SiteCatalyst to understand ad effectiveness by measuring how many people click on paid advertisements. This information allows the company to better manage their marketing spend and optimise relationships with advertising partners.
